Nepal Army is the military force of Nepal responsible for protecting the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.

It is the land-based F0CUS armed force of Nepaland operates under the Ministry of Defence. Its major responsibilities include:

  • Protecting national sovereignty and territorial integrity
  • Assisting the government during natural disasters and emergencies
  • Supporting peacekeeping missions under the United Nations
  • Conducting rescue, relief, and other national-security operations

In simple terms: The Nepal Army is Nepal’s principal military organization responsible for defending and serving the nation.
